Birds & More Customer Cards – Demonstrator Training November 2021 Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin’ Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog – either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

For this month’s customer thank you cards I had a vision of what I wanted the cards to look like. I have been wanting to use the Birds & More dies and the Alcohol Blends technique behind the die cut. I was envisioning shades of blue and green for the background and otherwise an all white card.

I decided to use Bermuda Bay, Old Olive and Night of Navy Blends to create my background. I coloured on Vellum cardstock and then used 99% Isopropyl Alcohol to complete the technique.

I cut the circle and vine die from the card front panel, in Basic White, and then embossed with the new Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder. I also cut the bird in Basic White and the label comes from the Seasonal Label dies. I picked a simple sentiment from the Inspiring Thoughts stamp set and used Night of Navy ink to coordinate.

I love how it all turned out, almost exactly as I had envisioned (that hardly ever happens…lol!)

When you order from me in November you will receive this thank you card from me!

From November 16-18th Stampin’ Up! has a Seasonal Sale and you can get 20% off the Birds & More dies and all other dies in the Annual Catalogue! You can also get 10% off cardstock, 15% on ink pads! This is a great time to stock up on the essentials.

Make sure when you order online with me to use host code JZCX9QPR on any order $50 or more to receive this month’s Loyalty Reward which is a free ink pad!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Beautiful card!!! Question: after coloring your velum, you misted with alcohol Then do you just let it dry and the colors just run together? Or is there another step?

Carol I actually used a water painter to apply the alcohol and that application makes the colours run together. Then I just let them dry which does not take very long.
