Last week we had our first in person card class of the year! It was a long 7 months to get here and it was SO GOOD to craft together! For this class we used the new Kit Collection which was released in May. Everyone chose whichever kit(s) they wanted to create and we all got to gush over each other’s kit which was fun! It was also great to take advantage of the summer weather and craft outdoors in my backyard! The all-inclusive kits and the garden atmosphere offered us a safe and COVID friendly evening.
It’s not a party without refreshments so I decorated some sunflower sugar cookies as a favour for the event! It was so nice to bake for people again! I took the opportunity to create these fun tags using the new Tailor Made Tag dies and the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set.
I chose to the Notes of Cheer kit to put together. This non-stamping kit includes supplies for 9 cards. It includes all the card bases, envelopes, pre-cut pieces and pre-printed greetings in English, French, German and Dutch! I did add in a stamped greeting from the Hippo Happiness stamp set and some Misty Moonlight/silver Baker’s Twine. You can browse all of the current kit offerings here.
