The Mini January-June 2022 catalogue is launching January 4, 2022. If you know anything about me you’ll know my love of Hawaii so when I saw the tropical images and bright greens in the Artfully Composed suite I had to create with it.
For these cards I started with Simple Stamping (stamps, ink, paper) and then “stepped” up the designs. I started with the Monstera palm leaf stamp (and yes, I had to look up which plant it was) and stamped in three colours of green – Soft Seafoam, Pear Pizzazz, and Just Jade.
I added the sentiment, also in Just Jade and ta-da – a simple yet beautiful thank you card that can be mass produced to have on hand.
Next I added some Designer Series Paper, a piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the Tailored Tag punch for the sentiment. A double bow in linen thread and this one comes together fairly easily.
For my last card I used one of the fun Designer Series Paper that is full of green foliage. I also decided to die cut three palm leaves instead of stamping them. Here are the measurements for this card:
Cardbase: Just Jade 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored @ 4.25″
Cardstock layer: Just Jade 5.25″ x 2 5/8″
Designer Series Paper: 5.25″ x 4″
Label: Crumb Cake 2″ x 1.5″
Banner: Coastal Cabana” 3″ x 5/8″
Leaves: Coastal Cabana, Pear Pizzazz, Evening Evergreen – each 2.75″ x 2.25″
