One of the many reasons I love Stampin’ Up! is there dedication to giving back to the community. In our July-December 2021 catalogue Strong of Heart is this year’s “Make a Difference” stamp set. $4 CAD from the sale of this stamp set goes to Heart Health and here in Canada the funds are being directed to St. Joseph’s Heath Care Cardiac Unit in London, ON. That is incredibly special to me as I live here! How great is it that the funds are directed right here in our city! I’m sure we all know someone in our life that has been effected by heart health or know someone who has.
When I received this stamp set in the mail I couldn’t wait to start creating with it. I decided to create a fun book binding fold card. All you need to create this fun fold is one extra score line!
Here are the measurements for this card:
Base: 4.25″ x 11″, scored at 5.5″ and 6.75″
Harvest Meadow Designer series paper (DSP) : 4″ x 4″
Basic White: 3″ x 3″
Specialty cork paper: 4″ x 1″
Crumb Cake: 0.50″ x 2.25″
I used a colour combination of Soft Succulent and Crumb Cake to coordinate with the Harvest Meadow DSP. I stamped the heart in Soft Succulent and the sentiment in Soft Suede. I also added some Open Weave Soft Succulent ribbon and a couple of the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.
Check out my Sunday Stampin’ video to see how the card comes together
Here are a couple of other cards created with the Strong of Heart stamp set.
