If you are like me you stalk the FedEx truck waiting each month for a special delivery of the Paper Pumpkin box! This month I was especially anxious because I love the Holiday project kits the best! This month did not disappoint!
October’s kit is Peaceful Christmas and it coordinates with the products in the Peaceful Place suite in the July-December 2021 catalogue. I couldn’t wait to play with the kit so here are some cards I’ve made so far.
This first one I did almost as the instructions given however I added Wink of Stella on the vellum trees. I love the way they sparkle with the glitter
Next I doubled my pine tree card bases by cutting them in half! They were too beautiful to only have one card each! I cut them 5 1/4″ x 4″ and added to Smoky Slate and Thick Basic White cardstock.
Lastly I stepped them up even more by cutting card fronts, cutting envelopes and adding some of the Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper. The great thing about Paper Pumpkin is they provide all the coordinating Stampin’ Up! colours so I grabbed my Real Red and Basic Gray inks. If you do not have a lot of crafting supplies Memento black ink is a great staple ink to purchase.
Check out my Sunday Stampin’ video to see how I created some of the alternatives
November’s kit is also Holiday themed but will be fun 3D treat holders with food safe bags. Gifts Galore will be the perfect kit to create with the children in your life or prepare sweet gift packages or even treats for neighbours. Don’t miss November’s kit – subscribe here by November 10th.
