A few months ago I discovered Crafty Al on YouTube and her monthly Sheetload of Cards. Each month a new design is posted where you can create multiple cards and use up that pretty Designer Series Paper (DSP) we all seem to collect. If you subscribe to her channel you receive the full instructional PDF each month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this month’s card I paired the Awash in Beauty DSP<\/a> with the Sale-A-Bration stamp set Amazing Phrasing<\/a>. I chose three patterns of the DSP and cut it up per the instructions and then assembled three variations with the pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n

My favourite thing about our products is the coordination – I just had to check the back of the DSP packaging to figure out which cardstock colours to pair with. I decided to go with Mossy Meadow for my card base and and Blushing Bride for the card front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The piece of Basic White cardstock I used for the sentiment was embossed with one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folders<\/a>. I used Merry Merlot ink for my greeting – a colour I don’t often use but paired so well with the DSP. I finished off the card by embellishing using a Brushed Brass Butterfly<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
