This month I was excited to create using the new Splendid Day suite<\/mark><\/a> in the Mini Catalogue July-December 2022. This suite is one of the non-holiday focused products in the new Mini and it features such soft, elegant images and colours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The measurements of the card were kept quite simple:
Card Base: 8.5″ x 5.5″, scored at 4.25″
Layer 1: 4″ x 3″<\/p>\n\n\n

The dies were cut from scraps of Soft Seafoam Cardstock <\/mark><\/a>and the Splendid Day Designer Series Paper<\/mark><\/a> (DSP). The DSP alone is absolutely gorgeous with a coloured foil side and beautiful botanical patterns on both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n

This card’s colour palette was chosen from the DSP colours – Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party, Fresh Freesia, and Sahara Sand. I used stamps from the set to create the background on the card base with tone on tone ink and cardstock, and another stamp to create a background on the Basic White layer. To finish it off I added a bow in the new Soft Sea Foam 3\/8″ Seam Binding ribbon<\/mark><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n
